NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONOntario Beverage Network reports that Niagara College Teaching Brewery is moving to cans as the primary packaging option for its beers, and is taking advantage of the change to relaunch its core products under new branding.

Labelled Beer 101, with the tagline “A Beer Lesson in a Can”, the series features beers brewed in traditional styles with each can presenting “a lesson about the history, bitterness, colour, alcohol, ingredients, aroma, flavour, mouthfeel, and the typical food pairings for each particular type of beer.”

According to OBN, five beers in the series – Lager, Pale Ale, Pilsner, IPA and Stout – are currently available in the brewery’s retail store, with six others – Vienna Lager, Strong Ale, Saison, Porter, Bock and Bitter – set to join them soon.

More details about all of the beers will be posted soon on the NCTB website.
