EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewing has announced the return of one of the more popular instalments in its Dragon Series of limited edition single-hop Double IPAs, as well as a new vintage of an always anticipated winter classic.
Blue Dragon is a 7.5% abv and 75+ IBU ale brewed with Columbus hops and is briefly described as follows:
Fleeting malt is followed by pronounced pine, resin and notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Finishes with a lingering bold hop bitterness.
Blue Dragon is available now in 650 ml bottles at the Alley Kat brewery store and select liquor stores and bars in Alberta.
Joining it soon will be the 2016 edition of Olde Deuteronomy, a 10.3% abv and 75 IBU barley wine that returned to Alley Kat’s seasonal rotation last year after several years off. Described as having notes of caramel malt, dried fruits, citrus and plum, Old Deuteronomy will be released soon in a limited run of 341 ml bottles.
