WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing has announced that after seven years of aging, the first batch of single malt whisky from its distillery off-shoot is ready to be released.
Two Brewers Yukon Single Malt Whisky will be officially launched on Saturday February 13th at the brewery, with 850 bottles going on sale at 9:00 AM, limited to two bottles per person.
The launch event will also feature samples of Wee Heavy Maple Scotch Ale being served at 11:30 AM, cask samples of the whisky at 12:00 noon, a draw for bottle #500 of the whisky, snacks and other refreshments.
A separate edition of the whisky is being bottled for the Alberta market, where it will be available in select liquor stores starting the week of February 15th.
