TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery is turning 29 years old tomorrow (February 12th), and they’ve announced some plans to mark the occasion.
Starting a 12:00 noon, visitors to the GLB retail store in Etobicoke will be able to enjoy free birthday cake, as well as $2 samples of four limited edition imperial stouts – The Imperial Bout Vanilla Bean Coffee Stout (collaboration with Station Cold Brew Coffee), 25th Anniversary Bourbon Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout, Behind the Wavy Wall Imperial Stout, and the new Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Solstice Stout.
The event will also be celebrated online with 29 different facts about the brewery to be posted to Twitter and Facebook every 29 minutes starting at 7:01 AM and ending at 9:30 PM. Use the hashtag #GLBturns29 to follow along or to share your own Great Lakes memories.
