VANKLEEK HILL, ONBeau’s All Natural Brewing is continuing this year’s edition of FeBREWary – a month of beer launches and related events – with the release tomorrow (February 25th) of latest in the Wild Oats Series of limited and one-off beers.

Elephant Monsoon is a 6.7% abv robust porter brewed with the addition of peanut butter and Concord grape juice, creating a beer that combines the flavours of a classic UK dark ale with the equally classic PB&J sandwich.

Tasting notes for the beer are as follows:

Elephant Monsoon pours a nearly opaque brown/black with a tan head. The aroma is a medley of mocha, grape and peanut notes. The flavour features sweet grapey fruitiness followed by dark chocolate and peanuts. The finish is dry… with lingering nuts.

Elephant Monsoon will be available in 600 ml bottles at the Beau’s brewery retail store and BYBO delivery service, and on tap at more than 200 participating bars and pubs across Ontario and Québec. A two-day launch event for the beer will take place at the Beau’s brewery this weekend (February 27th & 28th), with activities, prizes, food samples, tours and more.

For more details on these and other events and beer releases planned for the month, see the FeBREWary page on the Beau’s website.
