TORONTO, ON – Beer import and promotions agency Craft Brand Co. has announced that it will be launching a limited edition collaborative beer from two of its partner breweries next week.
Brewed earlier this year when Connor K. Patrick of Big Rock Brewery paid a visit to Lake of the Woods Brewing in Kenora, The Stranger is a 9% abv “Imperial Sarsaparilla” beer brewed with sarsaparilla root, wintergreen and vanilla, and named after Sam Elliot’s character in cult film The Big Lebowski.
A launch party for the beer will be taking place next Thursday March 24th at Duke’s Refresher in Toronto, with a live set by a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band at 7:00 PM, a screening of the film at 9:00 PM, and a Big Lebowski costume contest in between. Attendees who purchase The Stranger at the launch will be able to keep the commemorative branded glass.
The Stranger will also be available at the Lake of the Woods brewpub in Kenora, with more details on its release there expected to be announced soon.
