PENTICTON, BCCannery Brewing has announced the release of the latest in the Artisan Creations series of limited edition beers, and the relaunch of one of its core brands with a new name and label.

Kiss Yer Cousin Kentucky Common is a 5% abv and 15 IBU ale featuring a label designed by local artist Erin Jankowski, and described as follows:

It may not help you with your horse racin’, bourbon drinkin’ or fried chicken eatin’ skills, but with a healthy addition of corn, this dark cream ale might assist with family relations… or just mowin’ the grass.

Thornless Blackberry Porter is the new name for the beer previously known simply as Blackberry Porter. The 6% abv beer inside the bottle remains the same, though, and has the following description:

Five specialty malts and three superior hop varieties have been carefully chosen from the Pacific Northwest, the U.K. and Europe. The malted barleys and hops create a rich, traditional porter. The addition of all natural pure blackberry provides an exciting complexity to this easy sipping wonder.

Both beers are available now in 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in British Columbia.
