TORONTO, ON – The Canadian branch of Scotland’s Innis & Gunn has announced details of the latest I&G seasonal brand to be released in Canada.
Innis & Gunn Fired Oak Scotch Ale is an 7% abv ale with the following description:
Innis & Gunn was born from the discovery that the marriage of oak and beer can create something pretty remarkable and the brewer’s new Fired Oak Scotch Ale proves this case in point. The key to imparting outstanding flavour is all about finding the perfect match and balance of ingredients. This Scotch Ale uses a combination of lightly toasted oak and a unique batch of charred Heartwood American oak, flamed and blackened to give an intense roasted flavour. Notes of coffee, spices, vanilla and caramel give a balanced sweetness and transform this beer into a new cult classic.
I&G Fired Oak Scotch Ale is available now in Alberta, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, and soon in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. For more details on availability and pricing, check with local beer and liquor retailers in those provinces.
