VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced details of the next in its quarterly series of seasonal gruits, an ancient style of herbal beer that the brewery has been instrumental in reviving in recent years.
Released quarterly around each seasonal solstice and equinox, the Beau’s Gruit Series is continuing for summer with the debut of Buenos Dias, a 4.5% abv beer brewed with organic lime juice, lime and orange peel, and sea salt, and described as follows:
The aroma of Buenos Dias offers pronounced citrus notes, with subtle coriander undercurrents. Zippy lime flavour is accented with a wicking salt edge in the mouthfeel. The finish is quick, clean and dry.
In parallel to the main series, Beau’s is also running an Imperial Gruit Series, featuring limited edition beers “based on the other gruits in the series, but intensified versions that have bolder flavours and higher alcohol strength.”
The summer release in the Imperial series is Buenas Noches, a 9% abv variation on Buenos Dias that has “more intense citrus, and a finish that is slightly warming.”
Buenos Dias and Buenas Noches are available now at the Beau’s retail store and BYBO delivery service. Buenos Dias will also be available at LCBO locations in Ontario and select beer retailers in Quebec, while Buenas Noches will remain exclusive to the brewery.
