EDMONTON, AB – Yellowhead Brewery has announced the launch of the Yellowhead Certified Program, a series of live music events that will support the local music scene as well as local charities.
The program will provide sponsorship packages to 14 Edmonton bands and artists to assist them with merchandising, promotions and other support. In return, each artist will play a benefit event at the Yellowhead events space in support of various area charities.
The series will kick off tomorrow (July 15th) with an event featuring sets by heavy metal group Striker (pictured above) and alt-country combo Altameda. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Zebra Child Protection Centre.
