Beckwith Road Brewing Prepping for Launch in Moncton

MONCTON, NB – A new brewery with a name and philosophy inspired by the family history of the owners is about to release its first beer in Moncton.

Beckwith Road Brewing has been founded by cousins Mark and Mitch Symes, as is named after a farm north of Moncton that has been in their family for five generations, and which will be used to grow some of the ingredients used in the brewery’s beers.

The first Beckwith Road offering is Boston George, a 6.3% abv and 53 IBU ale described as follows:

This North American Pale Ale is named after our Grandfather’s first cousin George. Boston George is a marriage of two of our favourite styles, APA and IPA. This beer is well balanced with floral and fruity notes. You’ll find banana, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and some orange in the taste and aroma. It’s light amber in colour and is medium bodied. This is a great beer to enjoy ocean side, sitting on the deck, or any place of your choosing, on that sunny day.

Beckwith Road Boston George will be available in the next several days at bars in the Moncton area. For more details, see the Beckwith Road Facebook page.
