NEW HAMBURG, ONBitte Schön Brauhaus has announced via its Facebook page that it will be opening for business this weekend in the small town of New Hamburg in Ontario’s Waterloo Region.

Located in the historic Imperial Hotel building at 68 Huron St., Bitte Schön – German for “you’re welcome” – has been founded by local resident Marie Voisin and her partners Lee Brooks and Robin Molloy, the husband-and-wife duo who are also owners of Descendants Beer & Beverage Co. in nearby Kitchener.

As reported by the New Hamburg Independent earlier this year, Bitte Schön will focus primarily on German-style beers – “altbier, weissbier, kolsch, pilsner, bock, and hefeweizen” – brewed in small batches, and available in bottles and growlers at the brewery, and on tap at several local establishments.

Bitte Schön Brauhaus will open on Saturday October 15th. For more details, watch the brewery’s Facebook page.
