VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced details of the next in its quarterly series of seasonal gruits, an ancient style of herbal beer that the brewery has been instrumental in reviving in recent years.
The Beau’s Gruit Series is continuing for autumn with the return of St. Luke’s Verse, a lavender, rosemary and thyme gruit that has been available in limited quantities in the past, and is described as follows:
Brewed with an aromatic bouquet of herb and spice, the flavours in St. Luke’s Verse present in unison as a deliciously drinkable potpourri. The 5.7% ale pours copper in colour, with a white foam. Intense lavender aroma is complemented by contributions of thyme and rosemary. The flavours parallel the aromas and are held together with medium-bodied malt backdrop. The finish is medium dry with echoing herbal inflections.
St. Luke’s Verse is available for the next three months at the Beau’s retail store and BYBO delivery service, LCBO locations in Ontario and select beer retailers in Quebec.
