VICTORIA, BC – Swans Hotel & Brewery has announced release details for the newest vintage of a seasonal beer that honours the memory of one of Victoria’s greatest philanthropists.
Legacy Ale Barley Wine pays tribute to Michael C. Williams, a successful businessman who spearheaded the revival of the area where Swans is located. Williams passed away in 2000, and various vintages of Legacy Ale have been released in his honour since then.
The latest edition checks in at 11.7% abv, and will be launched on Thursday November 24th at the Swans pub, with free samples available from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
Following the launch, Legacy Ale will be available on tap at the Swans brewpub and in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in BC while supplies last.
