HALIFAX, NS – North Brewing has announced that it’s six core brands will now be sporting new labels in an Artist Series featuring the work of several local female artists.
As more fully reported by the Atlantic Canada Beer Blog, the participating artists and the new labels they’ve designed include:
- Julianne Harnish – Priority Pale Ale and Headline Milk Stout
- Amy Corbett – Dark Sky Strong Dark Belgian and Midnight Barrel-Aged Strong Dark Belgian
- Jillian Jackson of Jill & Jack Paper – Gus’ 65m Belgian Blonde Ale
- Nicole G – Farmhouse Red Bière de Garde
In addition to the four visual artists, the series also features the work of Tanya Davis, 2011/12 Halifax Poet Laureate and multi-talented artist and creator, who has contributed a short poem for each label.
