Lost Craft Brewing Purchases Sextant Craft Brewery

TORONTO, ONLost Craft Beer has announced that it has purchased the brands and assets of fellow contract brewing operation Sextant Craft Brewery for an undisclosed amount.

“The transaction adds a refreshing American-style Pale Ale that is complimentary to Lost Craft’s core year-round product portfolio,” said Lost Craft founder and CEO Shehan De Silva in a statement. “Sextant’s flagship beer, Why So Sirius?, is well balanced and sessionable, consistent with Lost Craft’s brewing philosophy.”

Why So Sirius? will continue to be brewed at the Common Good contract brewing facility in Scarborough alongside the Lost Craft brands, and will be relaunched under the Lost Craft banner this spring.
