Manitoulin Brewing Opening Physical Location This Spring

LITTLE CURRENT, ONThe Manitoulin Expositor reports that after approximately a year-and-a-half of running as a contract brewery, Manitoulin Brewing will be opening its own facility this spring in the town of Little Current on Manitoulin Island.

Founded by local residents and long-time friends Blair Hagman and Nishin Meawasige, Manitoulin Brewing has been producing its two flagship brands – Swing Bridge Blond Ale and Bridal Veil Pale Ale – out of Toronto’s Brunswick Bierworks, where Hagman has been working with the same style of Newlands Systems brewhouse that is being installed at Manitoulin’s bricks-and-mortar location.

According to the article, Manitoulin Brewing is setting up shop in the former Manitoulin Chrysler building on Highway 6, with plans to start brewing on-site in mid-April, and opening to the public in May once the first batches have been packaged for sale.
