Les Brasseurs du Petit-Sault Releases Colonel John Baker Dubbel

EDMUNDSTON, NBLes Brasseurs du Petit-Sault has announced the release of the latest in its ongoing series of beers inspired by local historical figures.

Colonel John Baker Dubbel is a 6.8% abv Belgian-style dark ale named after John Baker, a mill-owner and pro-American activist in the 1800s who disagreed with the placement of the border between New Brunswick and Maine, and declared a region that spanned the border to be the Republic of Madawaska.

Colonel John Baker Dubbel is available now at the Petit-Sault shop and taproom in bottles, growlers, and by the glass.
