BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewery has announced that a new vintage of the wine barrel aged edition of its Bolshevik Bastard Imperial Stout is now available.
Winey Bastard is a 9.3% abv and 70 IBU stout that has been aged for a year in Ontario Pinot Noir barrels, and is described as follows:
As with all of our Bastards, this is one big, bold beer. Pinot Noir barrels add more fruit and floral tannins to an already complex Imperial Stout. Coffee and cocoa blend with red grapes, oak and vanilla. Sip, savour or cellar for years to come!
Winey Bastard is available starting today (March 16th) in a limited run of 750 ml bottles at the Nickel Brook retail store in Burlington and select LCBO locations throughout Ontario.
