VANCOUVER, BC – Granville Island Brewing has announced the launch of a new quarterly series of small batch beers that are suitable for cellar aging – although immediate consumption is equally encouraged.
First up in the 2017 Cellar Series is Doppelbock, an 8.2% abv and 25 IBU German-style dark lager that Granville Island brewmaster Kevin Emms describes as having “notes of coffee, a little bit of roasted malt, and is a deep and complex lager that takes you for a pretty good ride.”
Doppelbock is available now in a limited run of 650 ml bottles at the Granville Island retail store.
