VANCOUVER, BC – Granville Island Brewing has announced the release of a new summer seasonal brand that is a sibling – in name, at least – to its popular Lions Winter Ale.
Lions Summer Ale is a 4.7% abv golden ale brewed with pineapple and passion fruit juice. It’s described as having “lively tropical fruit notes [that] are balanced with subtle biscuity flavours and a slightly tart, refreshing finish.”
Lions Summer Ale is available now at the GIB taproom and store in Vancouver, and will be on store shelves and taps throughout BC and Alberta by April 10th, and in other regions across Canada later this month.
