Vimy Brewing Opening Today in Ottawa

OTTAWA, ON – Ontario Beverage Network reports that a new brewery with a name inspired by one of the most iconic events in Canada’s military history is opening for business today in Ottawa.

Vimy Brewing – named after the famous Battle of Vimy Ridge, which was fought just over 100 years ago during World War I – has been founded by brothers Mike and Kevin Sirko, both of whom served as members of the Canadian Naval Reserve.

Located at 1-145 Loretta Ave. N. in Ottawa, Vimy is launching with three core brands – Vimy Cream Ale, Vimy Pale Ale, and Vimy Red Ale – that will be available on tap and in crowlers in the brewery’s tasting room and retail store.
