King Taps Opening Today in Toronto’s First Canadian Place

TORONTO, ON – A new craft beer focused restaurant and bar boasting 50 draught lines and a premium bottle selection has announced it is opening today (July 7th) in Toronto’s Financial District.

King Taps is located in First Canadian Place (100 King St. W.) in a two level space that was previously home to Vertical restaurant.

Beers on tap include four exclusive brands – French Blanche brewed by Rainhard, Lagered Ale by Creemore Springs, West Coast Pale Ale by Muskoka, and IPA by Batch – along with a selection of local craft and quality imports. Several ciders are also on tap, and the bottle list includes vintage selections from Bellwoods, Burdock, The Exchange, and more.

On the food side, the specialty of the house is pizza, with nine styles available, and a half-price special after 11:00 PM nightly. Tacos, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and other gastropub favourites also feature on the extensive menu.

King Taps will open at 5:00 PM today, with regular hours – 11:00 AM to 1:30 AM on Thursday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM on Sunday to Wednesday – starting this weekend. For more details, see the King Taps website and Facebook page.
