Propeller IPA Recalled in Ontario for Quality Issues

HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced that all cans of Propeller IPA in stock at LCBO stores in Ontario have been recalled.

According to a statement from the brewery, there is no health risk, it’s simply a question of quality:

We’ve had a hiccup in our system that has resulted in a sub-standard beer being distributed throughout Ontario. While there is absolutely nothing unsafe, it clearly does not meet the standards of quality that Propeller Brewing has made a point of standing on over the past 20 years.

Propeller estimates that new stock will be on the shelves in 4 to 6 weeks. In the meantime, any customers who have unopened product can return them to the LCBO, and any who were disappointed by a can of Propeller IPA in Ontario recently can email brew@drinkpropeller.ca with subject line “Ontario IPA” for restitution.
