Copper Bottom Brewing Opening Today in Montague, PEI

MONTAGUE, PE – The first brewery on the eastern end of Prince Edward Island has announced that it is set to open for business.

Copper Bottom Brewing has been founded by singer-songwriter Ashley Condon and her husband Ken Spears in the town of Montague, located approximately 45 km east of Charlottetown.

Located in the historic Eastern Graphic building at 567 Main Street, the brewery and taproom will be opening at 4:00 PM today (November 3rd), and will have two core brands – Centennial Stock Ale (4.9% abv) and Broadside APA (5.5% abv) – available by the glass and in growlers.

The bar will also offer a selection of wine and cider, and while no food is prepared or sold on site, there will be a rotating food truck schedule, and patrons are also welcome to order in delivery or bring their own.

Regular business hours of 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight will start tomorrow, and folk singer Dave Gunning will perform in the evening, the first of many live shows planned for the venue.
