Stillwell Brewing Launching Farmhouse Bottle Series with Stillwell Four

HALIFAX, NS – Stillwell Brewing, the brewery off-shoot of Halifax craft beer bar Stillwell, has announced the upcoming release of its first bottle-conditioned farmhouse ale.

Stillwell Four (6.2% abv) – so named because it will be released to mark the fourth anniversary of the bar – is described as follows:

Chosen from a particularly well-balanced barrel, this beer was brewed on May 29th with oats, wheat and pils malt and a lower-than-usual (for us) IBU to encourage acidity and to make room for barrel tannins and wine character. The results are pretty awesome and we’re very excited for you to pop these bottles!

Stillwell Four will make its debut on November 18th during an anniversary party at Stillwell. It will remain available at the bar while supplies last, and a limited number of 500 ml bottles will also be available to purchase on November 19th from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Stillwell Brewing facility in the rear of Propeller Brewing on Gottingen Street.
