YELLOWHEAD COUNTY, AB – Bench Creek Brewing has announced the fourth release in the Villainous Series, a monthly series of limited edition small batch beers named after infamous movie and TV villains.
Khan Bourbon Pecan Pie Winter Warmer (7.2% abv, 25 IBU) is a tribute to one of the best known villains in the Star Trek universe, and is described as follows:
Pe-KHAAAAAAN!! Save your strength for big malt flavours of sweet biscuit and butter caramel that reach the outer limits of time and space. Notes of toasted pekhan, vanilla and bourbon make one reminisce of an old friend, turned foe. Like bourbon pecan pie, you immediately recognize what’s in front of you, and then the memory slips away into time. Forgotten. Of course, there’s a proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold, and space is very cold… You simply have no alternative… Let them eat static.
Khan will be released tomorrow (January 17th) at the Bench Creek taproom and shop. It will be available in select liquor stores in Alberta starting this weekend, with distribution to retailers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba to follow soon.
