Two Sergeants Brewing Moving from Fort Saskatchewan to Edmonton

FORT SASKATCHEWAN, AB – The Fort Saskatchewan Record reports that the only brewery in the city will soon be closing and relocating to Edmonton.

Two Sergeants Brewing was launched in 2015 by partners Kevin Moore and Keith Edwards, with Edwards leaving the company early this year.

While it has built up strong local support in Fort Saskatchewan, limited space for growth in its current location has made a move necessary. In addition, taproom sales have not been as profitable as hoped, at least partly due to the lack of a full kitchen, something which will be rectified in the new location.

Moore tells the paper that the brewery will be moving to the Whyte Avenue area of Edmonton, a neighbourhood where a number of breweries are already located. While no firm timelines have been confirmed for the closure and move, Moore says that the current Two Sergeants will close by April 1st.
