Doan’s Craft Brewing and Sons Of Vancouver Distillery Bring Back Altaretto

VANCOUVER, BC – Scout Magazine reports that Doan’s Craft Brewing and Sons Of Vancouver Distillery have brought back a unique limited edition beer that had brief sell-out appearance last year.

Altaretto is described by Scout as follows:

It’s a merriment of [Doan’s] Altbier, a German style ale, with the apricot and honey goodness of the Sons of Vancouver Amaretto. Surprisingly well balanced and not at all as sweet as you might expect, the great base pale ale brings out the subtle nuttiness of the Amaretto and has a light honey finish for days.

Altaretto is available now in cans at Doan’s, and will also be on tap tomorrow at Sons Of Vancouver as part of the distillery’s 3rd anniversary celebration.
