People’s Pint Brewing Announces Late March Opening in Toronto

TORONTO, ON – Three years after launching as a homebrewing collective, People’s Pint Brewing has announced that it will be opening a commercial brewery and taproom later this month at an address that will be familiar to many Toronto beer drinkers.

Headed by founder Doug Appeldoorn, People’s Pint will be opening on Friday March 23rd at 90 Cawthra Avenue, a space that was home to Junction Craft Brewing for several years before its recent move to Symes Road.

For the launch weekend (March 23rd-25th), there will be a dozen beers available on tap and in the retail shop, including Helles Island American Helles Lager, Mango Fett Milkshake IPA, and Chinook of the North APA., and several beers brewed in collaboration with local brewers and homebrewers. In addition, Chef Adisa Glasgow aka Young Animal will be on hand serving up his unique “Trinidad Fusion” food.
