CANMORE, AB – Grizzly Paw Brewing has announced the release of a new beer created in support of the Pink Boots Society, an organization that assists and educates female brewing professionals.
Tropical Rain (4.3% abv, 18 IBU) is described as follows:
A pale & hazy straw colour India Session Ale with guava fruit addition. A dry hop giving citrus and tropical aromas. Notes of grapefruit and lime zest in flavour with a mild yet refreshing guava character. An overall well balanced citrus, tropical, smooth blend.
Tropical Rain was brewed by on March 8th – International Women’s Day – by Grizzly Paw’s female employees based on a recipe created by junior brewer Barbie Havasi.
Tropical Rain will be released today (April 6th) at 5:00 PM, with 650 ml bottles available at both Grizzly Paw stores, and a special cask version tapped at the Grizzly Paw Brewpub in downtown Canmore. For more details, see the Facebook event listing.
