VANCOUVER, BC – Parallel 49 Brewing has announced the release of the latest beer from its barrel aging program.
Fabulous Friends (7.2% abv) is described as follows:
This 100% Brettanomyces Ale was hopped with local Nugget and German Hallertau Blanc hops and fermented with 6 unique Brettanomyces strains. Aged for 3 months in French oak barrels and refermented with peaches, this beer pours a hazy gold with a fruit-forward nose, tropical, cantaloupe, peach orchard aromas and a slight oaky-leathery background. It is lightly acidic with notes of peach skin and vanilla and has a dry, herbal finish.
Fabulous Friends will be released tomorrow (April 14th) at 11:00 AM in a limited run of 500 ml bottles available exclusively at the Parallel 49 tasting room and retail store.
