GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced that it has partnered with Guelph Pride to brew and release the official beer for this year’s festival, which runs from April 28th to May 14th at venues throughout the city.
Sunshine (5% abv) was developed in collaboration with the organizers of Guelph Pride, and is described as a “refreshing blonde ale brewed with hibiscus and raspberries giving this fabulous beer a bright pink glow and vibrant berry flavours.”
Sunshine will be launching at Wellington Brewery this Saturday April 28th, with a release party from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM. It be available in cans at the brewery and online store, and in cans and on draught – including several special glitter-infused kegs – at licensed Pride events. Partial proceeds will be donated to Out On The Shelf, Guelph’s Queer Library and Resource Centre.
