St. Joseph Media Acquires Toronto Beer Week, Expanding Toronto Beer Guide to Year-Round Publication

TORONTO, ON – Communications and publishing company St. Joseph Media has announced the acquisition of Toronto Beer Week, and has confirmed that it will return for its 9th annual edition on September 14th to 22nd, 2018.

Described as a “collective nine-day series of events dedicated to the celebration and advancement of the craft beer movement,” Toronto Beer Week was founded in 2010 by a group of local beer fans and industry representatives, and has grown to include “pub crawls, beer dinners, tap takeovers, meet the brewers, industry nights, beer and cheese pairings, new beer releases and more” at bars, restaurants and breweries throughout the city.

In addition, Toronto Beer Week has published an annual Toronto Beer Guide, an offering that St. Joseph will be expanding to “a year-round magazine-style publication that includes relevant, evergreen content in addition to being a companion to the event.”
