Fernie Brewing Releases Cross-BC Collaboration with Four Winds Brewing

FERNIE, BC – Fernie Brewing has announced the release of a new beer created in collaboration with Four Winds Brewing.

Sirocco (5% abv, 21 IBU) is named after warm winds that blow from North Africa across the Mediterranean, and “like the Mediterranean winds, this collaborative brew connects Fernie in the BC Rocky Mountains, to Four Winds on BC’s west coast.”

The beer is described as follows:

Sirocco is a traditional Rauchbier – a dark, smoked Lager with malty, woody notes, and a smoky aroma. The addition of figs into the whirlpool and after primary fermentation, adds a sweetness that complements the toasted malt bill.

Sirocco is available now by the glass and in 650 ml bottles at Fernie Brewing.
