PEI Brewing Launches Rix Light Craft Lager

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Guardian reports that PEI Brewing has launched a new lager inspired by one of the pioneers of Prince Edward Island brewing.

Rix Light Craft Lager (4% abv) is named after William Rix, an entrepreneur who opened PEI’s first modern brewery in 1984. The beer is described as being “brewed with the highest quality ingredients using traditional techniques, easy drinking with a dry finish.”

Rix will be available in 473 ml cans at PEI Brewing retail shops and PEILCC locations. Launch events will be taking place throughout June at bars and restaurants across the province.

For more details including a list of launch events, see the Rix website and Facebook page.
