Callister Brewing Releasing Bellweather Doppelbock as First Bottled Beer

VANCOUVER, BC – Callister Brewing has announced details of its first ever bottled release, which is a beer that has been “1 year in the making!”

Bellweather (7.9% abv) is a whiskey barrel aged Doppelbock described as follows:

Lagered for 2 months, then aged in American Whiskey barrels for 10 months, this dark, rich beer has notes of tart cherry, vanilla, bourbon and oak with a caramel overtone and surprisingly clean finish.

Bellweather will be released on Thursday June 14th at Callister in a run of 980 x 650 ml bottles. A limited amount has also been kegged, and will be available to taste at the release event.
