POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced the release of the 2018 edition of a beer created in partnership with the biennial choral festival International Choral Kathaumixw.
Kathaumixw Bière de Garde (6.5% abv) is described as follows:
To honour Kathaumixw, Cedric has brewed a Bière de Garde, a strong pale ale or (literally) “keeping beer” traditionally brewed in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France. This version is peppery & earthy from the northern European hops, and fruity from the Belgian yeast.
Townsite Kathaumixw is available now in 650 ml bottles at the Townsite retail store, and soon in select liquor stores as well on tap at bars and restaurants in Powell River and area.
The 2018 edition of the International Choral Kathaumixw will take place July 3rd to 7th at various venues in Powell River.
