VANCOUVER, BC – Global News reports that Northam Beverages, the parent company of Bowen Island Brewing, as issued a recall for select lots of two beers due to defective cans.
Cans of Bowen Island’s West Coast Lager (lot L18207) and Artisan IPA (lots L18207, L18187, L18215) were “not properly seamed and may have sharp metal sticking out from the rim.”
Affected cans are being removed from all retail beer and liquor stores in British Columbia, and customers are asked to return any unopened cans to point of purchase for a full refund.
