NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE – The Great Canadian Beer Blog reports that the Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program at Niagara College marked an important milestone earlier this month, as the first bottles of the student-brewed First Draft Campus Ale came off the bottling line on Friday December 1oth.
Much like NC’s wine program, the brewing program is licensed to sell the beer it makes – the only fully licensed teaching brewery in Canada, in fact – so the ale, along with First Draft Campus Lager, will be available for the public to purchase at the campus.
Proceeds from the sales will support the program, assisting both current and future students.
