Picaroons Looks To Twitter To Help #NameThatBrew

FREDERICTON, NBPicaroons Traditional Ales is getting set to launch a new beer this spring, and is setting up a social media experiment to help them name it.

Inspired by the web series Botswana Bound, which follows the adventures of New Brunswick pilot Dave Radford as he follows his dream to become an African air safari pilot, the beer will be released in April. The brewery is working with marketing agency i communications to develop a name and label design for the beer, and are opening the brainstorming process to include input from followers on Twitter.

Today (Wednesday February 23rd) at 3:30 PM Atlantic, i communications will be holding session with Picaroons where they’ll be discussing ideas for the name and branding, and they’re inviting everyone to watch the session online at NBTVtoday.com/LIVE and tweet their input to the discussion using the hashtag #NameThatBrew.

UPDATE: Due to Picaroons owner Sean Dunbar being ill with the flu, the brainstorming session has been postponed, and will now be taking place on Tuesday, March 1st  at 3:30PM Atlantic.
