Half Pints Partners With Pride Winnipeg For Queer Beer

WINNIPEG, MB – The 24th annual edition of Pride Winnipeg kicked off this weekend, celebrating city’s gay, lesbian and queer culture with events running all week until the main parade on Sunday June 5th – and for the first time this year, the festival has an official beer.

Pride Winnipeg Queer Beer was crafted for the festival by Half Pints Brewing, a Winnipeg brewery well known for their independent nature and strong support for local causes and organizations.

Created with input from the Pride organizing committee, Queer Beer is “soft German Pale Lager with a light touch of organic raspberry juice” that’s described as having “impeccable taste, a little fruity, and 100% fabulous!”

A limited number of bottles were released via select MLCC stores and at the brewery store on May 19th, and kegs will be on tap and special events and various gay and gay-friendly establishments in the city for the duration of the festival.
