Garrison Brings Back Two Popular Fall Seasonals For 2011

HALIFAX, NS – After having success with them in past years, Garrison Brewing has brought back two popular fall seasonals for a limited time.

The first to be released was Oktoberfest Brau, which was made available on September 8th:

Germany’s most popular fall beer, this “Oktoberfest Brau” is brewed in the traditional maerzen style. Pleasant toffee-like flavors, medium body and low hopping make this a seasonal lager worthy of celebration.

Following a week later on September 15th was this year’s batch of 3 Fields Harvest Ale, a “wet hop” beer brewed with over 100 kg of fresh hops harvested from several local farms:

It has a complex combination of floral, lemon and pine aromas, featuring a juicy citrus mouthfeel with a hint of pine and ginger, and a lingering hop finish.

Both beers are available in 500 ml bottles at the Garrison retail outlet and select liquor stores in Nova Scotia. Oktoberfest Brau will also be available in Ontario at select LCBO locations starting this week.
