TORONTO, ON – The Ontario Brewer Podcast, a series of podcasts produced by the Ontario Craft Brewers and hosted by Mirella Amato of Beerology.ca, is kicking off a new season this week, with a focus on food and beer pairing.
Part one of the first episode is online now, and features Peter Romano and Ryan Morrow from Burlington’s Nickel Brook Brewing talking about the history of the brewery, and introducing listeners to two Nickel Brook beers, Apple Pilsner and Headstock IPA. In part two, Michael Simpson of Leslieville Cheese Market will join in to discuss pairing cheese and beer.
Future editions will follow the same two part format, with representatives from Ontario breweries including King Brewery, Black Oak Brewery, Grand River Brewing, Great Lakes Brewery and others talking about their brewery and beers in the first part, and various chefs and food purveyors appearing in the second part to bring together food and beer in unique ways.
