Whistler Brewing Releases Valley Trail Chestnut Ale

WHISTLER, BC – Whistler Brewing has announced the release of their latest limited edition seasonal beer, Whistler Valley Trail Chestnut Ale:

Valley Trail Chestnut Ale is a full bodied ale developed with an interesting blend of robust caramel and crystal malts, but to move this recipe into a totally new territory, [Whistler Brewing brewmaster Joe] Goetz incorporated stone-milled chestnut flour from both roasted and un-roasted chestnuts. While lightly hopped, this ale delivers a surprisingly distinct spiciness along with nutty malt characters – and spiciness significantly enhances the bittering complexity of this beer.

Valley Trail Chestnut Ale is available now in 650 ml bottles at private and government liquor stores throughout BC, as well as on draught at select bars and restaurants.

  1. Hey Folks, the Chestnut Beer sounds amazing. My family has a 1,000 Dunstan hybrid orchard here in Kentucky and we have another 1,000 trees coming next April. We’ve heard of how delicious Chestnut Beer is, how can we get a couple cases??? Thanks . Matt Eusner
