Beau’s Gets Go-Ahead to Resume Delivery Service

VANKLEEK HILL, ON – In a post to the “Beau’s Army” group on Facebook yesterday afternoon, Steve Beauchesne announced that due to the efforts of MPP Grant Crack and Premier Dalton McGuinty, Beau’s Brewery and Operation Come Home have been granted special permission to restart the home delivery service previously shut down by the AGCO:

I just heard from MPP Crack. Operation Come Home has been given a regulatory exemption to resume their delivery service of our beer! We’re back in business baby! Online orders will start back up as of 5:15pm (including BogWater!) and the delivery service will resume on Monday.

A huge thank you to my government for moving so quickly to get us back up and running… has anything like this ever happened before in this province?

As originally planned, deliveries will be limited to the Ottawa area. More details are available on the BYBO: Buy Your Beau’s Online website.

  1. What I found most hopeful about this whole mess (aside from the fact that the little guy won for once) was that the Ontario Government is promising a “broad review of the Liquor Licence Act over the next 15 months to update its regulations”.
Maybe Ontario can finally move into the 20th century now that we are firmly into the 21st.
