Sawdust City Ol’ Woody Alt Launching This Week

TORONTO, ON – As first announced last month, new Ontario brewery Sawdust City Brewing is doing a phased launch through the fall and winter, offering a new beer every month or so until all five of their main brands have been unveiled.

The second of them is Ol’ Woody Alt, which will be launched this Thursday December 15th at 4 PM at The Monk’s Kettle pub in Toronto.

Described as “a traditional German Alt, a great beer for a cool fall evening,” Ol’ Woody Alt will be paired with an appetizer created by the chef at Monk’s Kettle, and there will also be samples of the brewery’s first brew, Golden Beach Pale Wheat, available while quantities last.

Both beers were brewed by Sawdust City brewmaster Sam Corbeil at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery, where all Sawdust City brands will be produced until its full-scale brewery opens in Gravenhurst later in 2012.
