Beau’s To Release New Beers in Pro-Am Series & Greener Futures Program

VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All-Natural Brewing has announced the release of two new limited edition beers in the next week, one as part of their Greener Futures fundraising program, and the other to launch a new Pro-Am Series of beers created in collaboration with homebrewers.

Being released tomorrow is Bourbon Barrel Aged Dunkel Buck, a special version of  Dunkel Buck Dunkel Weizenbock that has been aging in a bourbon cask since being brewed last fall. Only 400 L has been produced, with the majority set aside for the Greener Futures co-op, in which members contributed $300 towards the installation of solar panels on the roof of the Beau’s brewery in exchange for receiving 30 bottles of barrel-aged beers over the next three years. Remaining quantities will be available for $12 per 600 ml bottle at the Beau’s retail store, as well as through the brewery’s BYBO home delivery program.

Coming next week is Doublewide Double IPA, an American-style IPA based on a recipe developed by Brad Clifford, winner of the Best In Show category at the Great Canadian Homebrew Competition in 2011. This is the third annual collaboration between Beau’s and Canadian Amateur Brewing Association (CABA) under the annual CABA CABA Hey! series, and the first in the new Pro-Am Series that will bring amateur brewers into the Beau’s brewhouse to collaborate on a quarterly basis.

Doublewide will be available at the brewery store, via BYBO delivery, and also on draught at select locations. A launch party for the beer will take place at  The Rhino in Toronto on Thursday January 19th, featuring Doublewide and four other Beau’s beers on tap.
