SASKATOON, SK – Paddock Wood Brewing has released a new limited edition beer that’s based on a previous limited release.
Barrel Full of Monkeys is a version of the brewery’s earlier 1000 Monkeys Imperial Stout that’s been aged in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. Described as “big, powerful, yet smooth,” it was launched with a “Monkey Teaser” event at The Two Twenty in Saskatoon last Friday January 27th, and went on sale at the brewery on Saturday.
The first batch of Barrel Full of Monkeys is limited to 1000 355 ml bottles available exclusively at the Paddock Wood brewery store and a small number of bars and restaurants. An additional six barrels are currently aging, and will be released in a larger edition in late February.
