Steam Whistle Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day With Events & Giveaways

TORONTO, ON – Their flagship Steam Whistle Pilsner may not be an Irish-style beer, but that isn’t stopping Steam Whistle Brewing from playing on both their iconic green branding and their numerous accolades for being a green (i.e. environmentally friendly) company to honour St. Patrick’s Day.

The centrepiece of the celebrations will be the annual Steam Whistle St. Patrick’s Day Party at The Roundhouse (255 Bremner Blvd., Toronto), the historic building that houses the Steam Whistle brewery and event space. Taking place on Saturday March 17th from 2:00 PM until midnight, the party will welcome 1000 guests to enjoy Irish music, dancing and entertainment, food by The Irish Embassy, and plenty of brewery-fresh Steam Whistle.

Steam Whistle will also be participating in the 25th Annual Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday March 11th, and a week later on Sunday March 18th, the Roundhouse will serve as the start and finish line for the St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk in support of Achilles Canada.

For those going out to celebrate, the brewery has partnered with bars and pubs across Ontario to offer a special Leprechaun Boot promotion, with 1 litre orders of Steam Whistle being served up in a boot-shaped take-home glass. And for those holding an at-home gathering in Toronto and surrounding areas, delivery of bottles, cans and kegs is available.
